Travel to Hamamatsu

We are now back from Hamamatsu. We had an amazing time. I will try to get some pictures posted over the next few days. On Sunday we took the Shinkansen (Japanese bullet train) from Osaka to Hamamatsu. It is one of the best ways to travel around Japan. Sean and Tracy both seemed to enjoy it. This first picture is in Shin Osaka station. Next to Sean and Tracy is a Shinkansen.

This is one of my favorite pictures. While we were waiting for our train we got Sean out of his stroller to stretch his legs. He decided to hang out on the suitcase for a while with Mom. As you can tell he was having a good time.

When the train pulled in Sean and I got close to the tracks to watch it. This is the front of the train as it came into the station. They are very cool looking - like some kind of space ship.

Sean did great for most of the 2 hour train ride. When he gets cranky we put on an episode of Sesame Street or Bunnytown on the iPod and it calms him right down. This is him on Mom's lap watching a little TV. Tracy was also feeling a little queasy so she is trying to keep her lunch down.
