Birthday Party

On Sunday we had Sean's "official" birthday party. Tracy invited a bunch of friends over and we fired up the grill and had a good time. She went all out. The apartment was decorated in a jungle theme - complete with vines, monkeys, and jungle music. We even had jungle cupcakes.

Of course Sean had a good time and enjoyed the attention (like he does not get enough).

As you can see below he had experience #2 with cake (this time a cupcake) and the results were the same - he loved it, and eventually ended up wearing it. He was also kind of to share some with me. For Sean, share = shove in my face.

Overall a great party and congratulations to Tracy for doing a great job. She ran a 5k that morning, mind you!

Thacy Carrolhen

Sunday morning Tracy ran in the Kobe City Marathon. (note that marathon = 5k). She did an awesome job and Sean was at the finishing line to high five her. She also got to wear her "I Know Jack" shirt it honor of our little buddy back in Cedar Rapids.

Things don't always translate well her so she was officially registered as Thacy Carrolhen. We were hoping for a t-shirt with the name printed on it, but no luck.

Good job Thacy!

Anything Look Strange?

This is what we woke up to Sunday morning - a snow storm! It didn't last very long, nothing stuck, and it is now over - but it was very cool nonetheless!
