I don't know why we even bother buying toys.

Random
This will just be a random, rambling post. It seems our last week has been king of random and rambling.
Last week Sean came down with a little something. He has been sniffly and a little cranky. We waited a few days and Tracy then took him to see a local Dr here on the island. It looked like Sean had the early signs of an ear infection so they sent him home with an antibiotic. He has been taken it for a couple days now and it seems to be working. He is still a little sniffly but better. His spirits seem much better and he is sleeping OK.
Tracy fell ill yesterday. We had big plans to go to dinner with 8 other people - we made arrangements to take them to a great local restaurant that we really like. On Saturday afternoon she got hit with a bug that has been going around. We had to cancel our Saturday night plans. Luckily our friends still went without us and hopefully had a good time. Tracy is feeling much better today so I hope she is over it. So far Sean and I have not been effected.
Today marked another big milestone for Sean. We took him shopping for a new car seat. He has finally outgrown his first one (the one we took him home from the hospital in). This kid is growing and changing fast. We went to a Babies R Us in Kobe and found him a cool new one. Now he gets to face forward so its like this is a whole new world for him! The buying process was quite an experience. I must say that was the single most pleasant buying experience I have ever had. I was not treated that well when we bought our last house. These Japanese get how to do the whole service thing. It ended with the Manager giving me his card/number in case I was having any trouble with the Japanese instructions. He wanted me to call him.
I got out for a great bike ride today (2nd week in a row). I went with a friend and we rode off the island up towards the mountain. A great workout and a lot of fun. I really like exploring the roads and back alleys by bike. You get a whole different perspective. Its also great to be getting some exercise again.
Check our Sean's new Barcalounger. It was a birthday gift from some friends. He absolutely LOVES this thing. He sits in it, climbs over it, carries it around, laughs at it.....I love this picture because he looks like all he is missing is a PBR and a remote control.

I like this other picture - It's Sean's new mafioso soldier look, straight out of the Sopranos.
