Pictures and Video from Kati and Zoe's Visit
See links on the right to some updated photos and video. Most are from hanging around the house. We also did some ice skating and the strange pictures you see of us blowing into things are from a local glass studio - we learned how to blow glass and each made an ornament to bring home.

Stranded
Kati and Zoe seem to be cursed with airline issues. I guess this morning it is weather related. Their flight was cancelled and they were placed on a later flight. Seems to be a theme. Their travel on Wednesday was pretty awful due some to weather issues, and also some competency issues by Northwest Airlines. The man who delivered their luggage, the next day around noon, came with a little token from NWA to apologize for the problems---a $25 discount coupon. That's right 25 bucks. 12.50 per passenger (tickets are currently $600 a piece) Does that pay for sitting on the runway for three and a half to four hours due to a mechanical problem (after the plane had sat for over 8 hours they discovered this mechanical problem) AND waiting at Detroit for flight attendant? Traveling with a seven year old isn't stressful enough? Zoe was a trooper though with (I hear) only one meltdown. That is pretty good....I be Kati had more freak outs than that.
Anyway, Sean is great. He is hungry all the time....ALL THE TIME. This morning at 7:15 am Pat was leaving for work and Sean had just pooped on me and peed in his eye. Pat was trying to tell me goodbye and I couldn't answer, being slightly catatonic. I snapped out of it (rather than snapping) about five minutes later. Already, motherhood has provided me with a new reserve of patience and a deeper sense of humor (which I thought was pretty deep already)---thank God (literally).
