Before moving here we really weren't sure what to expect in terms of weather. Will we actually see seasons? The answer is yes! Over the past couple weeks the leaves on at least some trees have changed. Tracy took a few pictures:
The mountains above the city still look pretty green, but there are specs of color. We will see what happens with time.
I did a little more investigation. The latitude of where we live is about the same as the North Carolina/South Carolina border. That gives us another idea of what to expect. To be more exact we are at 34°41'27"N - about halfway between Charlotte NC and Columbia SC.
If you click on the map above it will let you explore around our home a bit. The "A" bookmark in the middle is our actual apartment building. You can zoom in and get a good view of it.
