Saturday night was date night #3. We got invited to a Buffalo Chicken Wing party in Kobe. It was at a small cafe where a lot of the guys I work with hang out. It was fun to see a lot of the guys and girls outside of work. It did not feel like we were in Japan for a couple hours. We had beer, chicken wings, and pizza. It was a small place that couldn't hold all of us so we spent a lot of time standing in the alley outside. We kind of took over the road. Every once in a while you would see a car coming up the road - about 1/2 of the time the driver would turn around when they saw the large group of foreigners standing in the road. The other (braver) half would inch their cars forward until the seas parted. Sometimes you would even get a horn honk, very un-Japanese. A good time and we found a new fun place to go.
